Korea maintained the spot for global shipbuilding orders for three straight months.
According to Clarkson Research Services, the nation won orders for ten vessels totaling 270-thousand compensated gross tons in July, which is almost half the total global output.
Runner-up was China with 200-thousand CGTs to build 11 ships, followed by Japan.
Seoul's top ranking comes amid a dip in global ship orders... which fell by 43-percent on-year last month.
