South Korea is forecast to surpass Japan in four years when it comes to per-capita gross domestic product based on purchasing power parity -- or PPP.
According to the IMF's World Economic Outlook,... South Korea came in at 32nd out of 1-hundred-94 countries this year for GDP per-capita adjusted for PPP,... with some 38-thousand U.S. dollars per capita.
Japan, meanwhile, was ranked at 31st.
