South Korea's start-up minister has called on the country's SMEs and big businesses to join forces against what she called Japan's "economic assault." Park Young-sun said on Tuesday that at a time when Korea's economy is going through a structural change, it must overcome weaknesses. She stressed that the country's small and medium-sized firms and large corporations need an efficient division of roles to create synergy. The minister pledged to roll out joint R&D investment, testbeds for new technology and other platforms for cooperation,... to help Korean industries build economic resilience.
