A citywide strike in Hong Kong against the now-shelved extradition bill led to an unprecedented citywide rampage with violence in multiple districts on August 5, 2019.  One violent incident played out in Tsuen Wan, a town in the Western New Territories, where a white-clad group got into fights with protesters at around 11pm. People on both sides of the conflict were injured, including some with deep lacerations and bloody injuries.
