South Korea's trade ministry and business leaders representing eleven different industries met on Sunday to find ways to deal with Japan's trade restrictions.
The meeting this morning was for local industries that could be directly hit by the removal of South Korea from Japan's trade whitelist,... including the semiconductor, display and automobile sectors.
South Korea's trade minister Sung Yun-mo proposed measures to ensure a smooth-running supply chain, promising all-out government support including tax cuts and easing regulations.
