A North Korean boat has been towed into a South Korean naval base... after the boat crossed the de facto inter-Korean maritime border late Saturday.
An official from South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said Sunday... there had been three crew members on the North Korean boat. One of them was wearing a military uniform.
They had told South Korea's special forces that they crossed the Northern Limit Line due to a "navigational error".
A joint investigation team are verifying the crew's identities and statements.
Currently the boat is being kept in a naval base in Yangyang , Gangwon-do Province.
