Douaumont remembered

Re-enactors gathered for a few hours to honor the memory of soldiers fallen for France. They all are volunteers, actors of one day and proud to incarnate soldiers of the Great War.

At the foot of Douaumont necropolis where rest the bones of 130,000 soldiers fallen during the battle of Verdun. Facing the cemetery and its 15,000 tombs, youngsters as well as older generation are remembering together the fallen soldiers of Verdun.

November 11, 2008, 11 hours, ossuary of Douaumont, it was this morning 90 years after the Great War.
