Eight Including Six Army Personnel Dead In Himachal Building Collapse

Eight people, including six Armymen, died and several sustained injuries after a building collapsed amid heavy rain in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The building came down around 4 p.m. on July 14. The top floor of the buliding had a restaurant, where people, including Army personnel, were dining when the building collapsed.Few people still feared trapped in the debris and Those rescued from the rubble have been taken to local hospitals.Two teams of The National Disaster Response Force reached the site of the accident to carry out rescue operations. A third team has also been dispatched to help with the operations.Also A case of negligence has been registered against the restaurant owner under the Indian Penal Code.
