Meanwhile, the Blue House says President Moon is ready at any time... to hold talks with the leaders of the nation's political parties. That was in response to a proposal earlier today from the leader of the main opposition Liberty Korea Party, Hwang Kyo-ahn, who suggested meeting with the President about Japan's export curbs. Hwang had emphasized that the "crisis" caused by Japan's new measures is retaliation against Korea over historical issues. He said he's willing to meet with the President in any kind of setting. That's in stark contrast to what he had demanded back in May when he wanted to meet one-on-one instead of in a group with other political leaders. If such a meeting does take place it would also cover the supplementary budget bill that still needs review by parliament.
