Torrential monsoon rains cause over 70 deaths in Bangladesh, India and Nepal

Seasonal monsoon rains have triggered deadly flooding and landslides across South Asia since early July 2019.  More than 70 people have been confirmed dead in Bangladesh, India and Nepal, and dozens more have been reported injured or missing.  Reports say at least 2.5 million people have been adversely affected by the monsoon weather this year.
