Donald Glover Defends Halle Bailey's
Casting in 'The Little Mermaid' Bailey — of the R&B duo Chole x Halle —
was recently cast as Ariel in Disney's
live-action reboot of 'The Little Mermaid.' The move caused
racist backlash since
Bailey is black, and
the original cartoon
version of Ariel is white. Glover came to Bailey's defense
while speaking with 'E! News' at
