Moody's Investors Service has kept Seoul's rating at Aa2 with a stable rating outlook. The agency said Korea's economic and fiscal fundamentals remain very strong despite continued geopolitical risks. It noted that the country's reliance on international trade could pose problems in the near future, but added that it still has a highly diversified and competitive economy compared to other countries in the same rating group. Korea has been maintaining an Aa2 rating, the third-highest level on Moody's rating system, since 2015.
