The narrow corridor, 80 meters below the surface, was drilled by hand using iron cylinders and formed one of six infiltration passages dug by the Lebanese Shiite militia.
Beneath the town of Zarit is the most advanced one of those that have been found by Israel, which penetrates 77 meters into the territory, Israeli Army captain Livy Weiss told Efe.
