S. Korean companies' business sentiment rises for June: BOK
  • 5 years ago
South Korean companies' business outlook for June has fallen slightly compared to the month before.
According to the Bank of Korea, the Business Survey Index for all industries recorded 74 for June, up a single point on-month.
The central bank said business sentiment among manufacturing companies was down, but sentiment among non-manufacturing sectors like real estate and science and technology went up.
The outlook for July also edged higher.
However, the figure for June is still far below 100, meaning there are more pessimists than optimists.
