Gwangju, designated a Media Art Creative city by UNESCO back in 2014..., is hosting the International Symposium on Electronic Art this week. More than 1-thousand visual art, electronic music, and design experts and artists from around 60 countries are taking part. The event held under the theme "Lux Aeterna: Eternal Light" runs until Friday. The symposium seeks to provide a forum for inter-disciplinary exchanges and global networking, based on a series of academic conferences, exhibitions and local workshops that combine technology and culture.
