World’s longest water slide ready for riders on Malaysian island of Penang

Malaysia will soon be home to the longest water slide in the world. The attraction stands 70 metres (230ft) high and will carry riders for 1,140 metres (3,740ft) as it winds through jungle trees, over roads and near bridges. The slide, which will be the main attraction at the ESCAPE Theme Park, is scheduled to open on Penang island in August 2019.
