Payments for 2-3 bed hospital wards to be covered by national health insurance from July

Beginning next month, payments for two to three-bed wards in local hospitals will be partially covered by the national health insurance, with patients only paying a third of the cost.
That would include just over 17-thousand wards in more than 17-hundred hospitals nationwide.
Currently, the national health insurance only covers payments for such wards in GENERAL hospitals.
