Good morning. Brace yourself for sweltering heat and strong sunshine. It's forecast to be hotter and sunnier than Monday. A heat wave advisories have been expanded to more areas, including Seoul, for the second time this year. Temperatures will hit 33 degrees by the afternoon. Be careful if you are doing any sort of outside activity. Your pets will need to limit their outdoor time as well.
Checking on today's temperatures, we have a breezy start to the day with lows ranging between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius, which are similar to yesterday. Nothing but sunshine is in store with very high UV rays.
Daily highs in most areas will be a couple notches higher while Busan and Jeju will have bearable afternoon highs at 26 and 27.
The heat will ease tomorrow as monsoon season kicks off in southern provinces and we will see frequent monsoon rain throughout the weekend.
