A local civic group has unveiled a newly-discovered map from the Japanese government that recognizes South Korea's ownership of the Dokdo islets.
The map has an official government seal,... while the one usually referenced by Japan's Foreign Ministry does not.
The Dokdo Foundation also questioned the authenticity of the map that the ministry has referred to.
It said a Japanese pastor will publicize several other maps at a conference on Friday,... which contradict Japan's false territorial claims over Dokdo.
