Ingredients: 2 Cup Boiled Chickpeas 1 Cup Boiled Potatoes 1 Cup Yogurt 1 Medium Onion 1 Tomato 2~3 tbsp Green Sauce 4~5 tbsp Tamarind Sauce Fried Samosa patti 1 tsp Chaat Masala 1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes ½ tsp Black Salt
For Tamarind Sauce (Imli ki chatni) 1 Cup Tamarind, ½ tsp Salt, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds powder, ½ tsp Red Pepper & 4 tbsp Sugar
For Green Sauce (Hari chatni) fresh coriander leaves, Mint leaves, green chilies, ½ tsp Salt, ½ cumin seeds powder & 4~5 yogurt.
Method: - Take one cup Tamarind & soak in 1½ cup water for 2 hours. Strain the pulp of tamarind. - Now add ½ tsp Salt, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds powder, ½ tsp Red Pepper & 4 tbsp Sugar to the tamarind pulp. - Cook for 10 minutes at medium flame. - & for Green sauce take fresh coriander leaves, Mint leaves, green chilies, ½ tsp Salt, ½ cumin seeds powder & 4~5 yogurt. - Blend these all to make green sauce. - In a mixing bowl add yogurt, 1 tsp Chaat Masala, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder, ½ tsp Red Pepper Flakes, ½ tsp Black Salt, mix well. - Add tomato (cut in cubes), Onion (cut in cubes), boiled chickpeas & boiled potatoes. Mix well. - Shift it to the serving bowl. - Pour green sauce, tamarind sauce over it. - Crush samosa patti by hand and sprinkle over it. - Chana Chaat is ready. . . .
