Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has come out with auto data for the month of May. The overall commercial vehicle (CV) segment registered decline of 8.05 percent while the three-wheeler sales declined by 6.56 percent. CNBC-TV18’s Parikshit Luthra caught up with Vishnu Mathur, director general of SIAM and asked him about the government’s electric vehicles (EV) plan.
