The journey to Rome wasn't just physical but it was also deeply spiritual. I liked how it connected history with modern views and made me think whether people still look for that deeper meaning. Overall, it helped me understand why pilgrimage was so important.

rhys.-xzp181I'm really impressed by the depth this documentary took on pilgrimage. We learned so much about the pilgrim's in school, but don't fully come to appreciate how greatly they shaped the world we live in today. While people walking on the same paths of the pilgrims today has turned into a journey of spiritual growth and a novel experience, without the pilgrimage our roads of public transport would look so different like Simon mentions early on.
