Defense ministers of S. Korea and U.S. to meet in Seoul

The defense chiefs of South Korea and the U.S. will hold a meeting here in the nation on Monday.
Minister Jeong Kyeong-doo and his American counterpart, Patrick Shanahan are expected to touch on pending issues such as combined exercises and the eventual transfer of wartime operational control.
Ahead of that session, this Friday through Sunday, Jeong is scheduled to attend Asia's biggest annual security forum,... the "Shangri-La Dialogue" in Singapore.
There he will call for close cooperation among participants to achieve successful denuclearization of the Peninsula.
