Teenager killed, 14 young people wounded as theatre stage collapses in China

A 13-year-old was killed and 14 other youngsters were hurt when an elevated stage collapsed at a theatre in Zhangzhou in China’s southeastern province of Fujian on May 25, 2019. The young people were performers who had gathered for a group photo at the end of a dance competition when the structure gave way.
