Learn Spanish or German instead to give a big head start to Learn Russian. Master Spanish or German makes learning Russian Easier.
For Spanish: Spanish has complex conjugation, many Russian and Spanish vocabularies are similiar, a lot of words ends in a vowel, like Russian (especially feminine words in both language ends in "a" sound) Both Spanish and Russian do roll the "r"
For German: German has 4/6 cases that Russian has. Both words order are flexible, but Russian word order is more flexible than German, with complex conjugations.
