The U.S. is apparently ramping up the role of the American judicial branch in enforcing its sanctions on North Korea.
Voice of America reports that over the past three years,... the U.S. has filed seven criminal and civil lawsuits against entities or individuals that have violated the sanctions.
This includes the latest case, in which the Department of Justice filed a civil suit to confiscate a ship and its assets.
