Andrea Scalzotto's quotations within the Suzuki Rally Cup are growing: in the second year of participation in the Suzuki single-brand trophy, Vicenza is carving out an increasingly important space, making it one of the major protagonists of the championship. At the wheel of the SWIFT 1.6 Sport R1B in the colors of the Funny Team, Scalzotto sees its performance grow, together with the experience gained with the car. The twenty-year-old is in fact reaping the fruits of the intense season that sees him participating in the races of both the WRC and CIR series. At the recently held Rallye Elba, Scalzotto achieved his first seasonal victory, along with navigator Nicola Rutigliano. In the particular Elban race, characterized by slippery asphalts and limited "grip", the Venetian driver took the lead from the second special stage, exceeding the Emanuele Rosso from Asti, winner of the first fraction.
