reports Susan Bay, widow of actor Leonard Nimoy, who passed in 2015, has revealed details about his death.
Best known as Spock on 'Star Trek,' Nimoy died at age 83 from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and asked the nurses to help him end his life.
He didn't want to be confined to a wheelchair and not able to breathe...Leonard believed... in dying with dignity.
Nimoy's condition was blamed on years of smoking despite quitting 30 years before.
He dedicated his life to encourage others to quit smoking for the rest of his life.
