With the AMA returning the 25 points docked from his fuel controversy, Ricky Carmichael returned to the top of the leader board. After a disastrous crash while leading in Daytona, James Stewart would regroup and win 5 of the last 6 Supercross races with Chad Reed sneaking in his 2nd win of the season in Dallas.
