Frankie Ford - Roberta

Frankie Ford's most well known song was his top 20 hit 'Sea Cruise' which he released with Ace Records. The backing track to 'Sea Cruise' was his song 'Roberta' which was released in 1959. He recorded it with top New Orleans players like Huey Smith and Red Tyler.

In the mid '60s, The Animals released a cover version of 'Roberta.'
