Dottie West - An American Trilogy

Dottie West rose to fame in the early '60s and had a top ten hit in 1965, with 'Here Comes My Baby Back Again.' West went on to reach the top ten with more country hits and in the '70s, recorded several singles with country star Kenny Rogers, which earned them number one records and platinum selling albums.

'American Trilogy' is a song arranged by country songwriter Mickey Newbury and made popular by Elvis Presley, who began including the song as part of his regular concert routine in the 1970s. It is a medley of three 19th century songs—"Dixie", "All My Trials" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic", the marching song of the Union Army during the Civil War.

This performance was recorded live at Church Street Station in Orlando, Florida.
