South Korea reclaimed top spot in terms of the ratio of R&D spending to GDP in 2017,... surpassing that of Israel.
Citing the OECD's Main Science and Technology Indicators,... the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation and Planning and the Ministry of Science and ICT explained that South Korea's R&D intensity,... the expenditure on R&D as a percentage to the GDP stood at four-point-five-five percent.
Israel had the second highest R&D intensity, followed by Switzerland.
