Good morning, those of us in the west and the capital area will have early summer like conditions this afternoon with highs hiking to 28 degrees Celsius. It will feel more like early July, while regions in the east will be affected by easterly winds with breezier conditions.
Temperature-wise, we are seeing double digit morning lows to start the day in most areas. Daejeon and its surrounding regions are waking up to higher levels of ultra fine dust so have your face mask ready.
Mostly sunny skies and high to very UV rays are in store, wear a good amount of sunblock... Seoul, Daejeon and Chuncheon will see highs nearing 30 degrees Celsius.
The unseasonably warm temperatures will be short-lived. Rain on Tuesday evening will bring down the mercury. In fact, we'll see frequent showers throughout the week... bringing highs will go down to teens again.
