South Korean director Bong Joon-ho's film "Parasite" has been selected for the 2019 competition of the Cannes Film Festival.
The festival announced the 19 film line-up for the 2019 competition on Thursday.
Bong made his debut for Cannes' Palme d'Or in 2017 with his last film Okja.
Parasite is a thriller about a family that infiltrates another and Song Kang-ho plays the main character, collaborating with Bong for the fourth time, following "The Host" and "Snowpiercer."
The 72nd Cannes Film Festival runs from May 14th to 25th.
