A group of student activists who are organising a forum on the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) have welcomed Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim to attend.

Tunku Ismail was opposed to Putrajaya inking the Rome Statute, which witnessed Malaysia eventually withdrawing from the treaty.

Responding to a question, one of the student activists Asheeq Ali Sethi Alivi said the crown prince himself is “confused” regarding the Rome Statute.
