Election Commission bars Yogi Adityanath, Mayawati from campaigning for Ali-Bajrang Bali remark: Reports said the Election Commission of India has put an 72-hour prohibition on campaign from 6 am on April 16 onwards against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for Model Code of Conduct violation pertaining to Ali-Bajrang Bali remark while the poll body has put a 48-hour ban on BSP chief Mayawati for invocating to Muslims to cast their votes in favour of the SP-BSP alliance in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
