Sen. Bernie Sanders was known for having the most support from young voters in the 2016 presidential election. According to Business Insider, Mayor Pete Buttigied may take away some of that support for the 2020 election. The Monmouth University Poll shows that Iowa voters ages between 18 and 49 support Sanders 18 percent. Former Vice President Joe Biden came in second with young voters, receiving 16 percent. And finally Buttigieg receive 12 percent, which may be less but it a lot for a newcomer to national politics.
