An oil tanker heading towards the Libyan capital of Tripoli rescued a group of 100 Libyan migrants who then hijacked the vessel. Subsequently, Maltese armed forces boarded the tanker and restored control to the crew. The Libyans have been taken to Malta’s capital, Valletta.
