ಐಪಿಎಲ್​ ಮೊದಲ ಪಂದ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಧೋನಿ ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಸ್ಟೇಡಿಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ರು.ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬೌಂಡರಿ ಲೈನ್ ಬಳಿ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಕ್​, ಪೆನ್ ಹಿಡಿದು ಆಟೋಗ್ರಾಫ್​ಗಾಗಿ ಧೋನಿ ಧೋನಿ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುತ್ತಿದ್ರು. ಇದನ್ನ ನೋಡಿದ ಧೋನಿ ಭದ್ರತಾ ಫೆನ್ಸಿಂಗ್​ ಜಿಗಿದು ನೇರ ಅಭಿಮಾನಿಗಳತ್ತ ನಡೆದ್ರು.
