Nick Cannon—rapper, actor, comedian, TV host—considers himself part of the 5AM club.
So even when his day brings long studio sessions or late nights DJ’ing at the club, Cannon rises and sweats. Of course, it helps having a gym attached to your office and music studio, no one else is allowed to use ... even other artists. “I never really leave this place,” Cannon admits. And looking at him, we're inclined to believe him.
Welcome to the first entry of Gym & Fridge, a new Men's Health video series where we tour celebrities' most intimate spaces. But, of course, these tours don't just involve walking, and once we got there, Cannon, holding a giant bowl of oatmeal, quickly threw on a weighted vests and got to work. “I’m one of the only cats who works out and eats the entire time,” Cannon says, wolfing down breakfast beside his overhead press. Somehow, he didn't get cramps.
And then it was onto pull ups, handstands on top of cinder blocks, and chains for pulling a car across his parking lot. Show off.
