After hype, self-driving cars enter era of disillusionment

At the Geneva Motor Show, the electric car is everywhere, autonomous vehicle almost nowhere. Since last year's Tesla and Uber vehicle accidents in the United States, enthusiasm seems to have waned a little, even though companies continue to invest huge sums in research.
