Apathy has claimed a life again. A Delhi school's negligence has snuffed out life of a 6-year-old who fell into an unguarded septic tank in the school premises.

Class 1 student Devansh Meena of Ryan International School was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead. But parents allege foul play and question the laxity of the school authorities. Parents allege school principal tried to cover up the incident and rebuked parents for questioning the apathy meted out. Shockingly, the school has deflected all accusations and now hold the dead child responsible.

Delhi police will examine the CCTV footage of lobby and has roped in the principal for further questioning, but this tragedy evokes age old question: Who is accountable for the demise?
