As we take a look at the year gone by, we would be discussing the highs and lows of 2015. Technically, 2015 should have been a year of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s honeymoon period, but somehow the events and circumstances and the way it changed have overtaken the emotion and it’s not had been as good as it ought to have been for him.
With events taking place like scientists, artists, writers returning their awards, the issue of intolerance really dominated the development agenda of the government. Also spats between the opposition, ruling groups, parliaments cost the government its performance. The government has come out of promises but somehow it failed to convey what work actually happened on the ground.
However, some panellists are of the opinion that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aura has been undimmed and he is still considered the tallest leader in India today.
