Maharashtra to procure 2 bullet-proof cars for Governor and CM Devendra Fadnavis’s use in Delhi

The Maharashtra government will spend Rs 1.4 crore to procure two high-end bullet-proof vehicles for Maharashtra Governor C Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. These vehicles will be kept at Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi and will be used exclusively when the two visit the capital. The move has sparked a row. Remember The farmer suicide count in the six-month span from January to June this year stands at 1,300 cases. The Opposition has slammed the current government for setting aside this amount instead of using the funds to help the plagued farmers.
