DMK leader and former Rajya Sabha member N Rajendran allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in his car in Kovilpatti on Wednesday, police said.
62-year old Rajendran, who was a Rajya Sabha member as an AIADMK representative from 1995-2001, parked his car near the new bus stand and shot himself around 6 pm, they said.
