After KCR, MLAs and babus start packing for China junket

After the Chief Minister's much-publicised trip, it is now the turn of TRS MLAs and bureaucrats to go on junkets to China. And this comes at a time when major projects of the state are held up due to cash-crunch and debt-ridden farmers, from even the chief minister's native place, are crying out for relief. Dazzled by the swanky cities of China, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to send all his ministers, senior officials, MLAs and MPs to China, in batches. The first batch is slated to leave next week, the Chief Minister had drawn flak by hiring a private luxury jet for his nine-day chinese tour which cost Rs 2 crore to the exchequer.
