Session won't serve any purpose, says Congress

The Congress has virtually delivered a blow to the government's show of eagerness to call an extended stint of the monsoon session of parliament to pass the GST Bill. The Congress has made it clear that the party was determined to carry on with demand that parliament can function only if the Prime Minister sacks Sushma Swaraj, Vasundhara Raje, and Shivraj Chouhan. Top NDA Ministers have gathered for a cabinet meeting at south block where a decision on a special session of parliament is likely to be taken.
