Here's the bad news first - over the last few days onion prices have shot through the roof. At lasongaon - India's biggest onion mandi wholesale prices have crossed 50 Rs per kilo a two year high. And now for more bad news - a study by assocham warns that below average rainfall could exacerbate troubles and onion proices could reach all times high.
