They were allocated govt accommodations but chose to stay at 5 star hotel. 27 mps overstayed at delhi's ashoka hotel and have notched up an outstanding bill of rs. 5.69 crore. while the lok sabha secretariat had already cleared a bill of rs. 24 crore for the period of may 2014 to may 2015, the secretariat has refused to clear the outstanding bill and has sent a note to all the mps. however, the mps have denied receiving any such note while some of them continue to stay the hotel.
