Yakub Memon found support from one of the unlikeliest quarters. Actor Salman Khan began tweeting on Sunday night asking for Yakub Memon to be spared the gallows and asked for his elder brother 'Tiger' Memon to be hanged instead. "Don't hang brother hang tha lomdi (fox) who ran away," said Salman in a series of over a dozen tweets, asking for Yakub to be let off, "1 innocent man killed is killing the humanity." The tweets sparked a furore, with both the Sena and BJP slamming him.
